The Supreme Court Advisory Committee will meet this Friday and Saturday (1/27 & 28) in Austin. (I am pleased to report that I was just appointed to this committee for a three-year term.) Reproduced below is an advisory about the agenda for this meeting. Among others things, there will be a discussion of proposed rules for expediting cases that involve $100,000 or less.
